I have recently seen increased activity in the neighborhoods around the large dry lakes in Spring Hill in Hernando County on Florida's Nature Coast. Could it be that people are hoping to cash in on super-low prices expecting that some day they will own lakefront property? There are several homes available for under $100,000 and those right on the dry lake are going in the mid to upper $100's.
The neighborhood is a mixture of small and large, old and new, with and without pools so there's quite the selection. And they are convenient to everything.
Even without being filled with water, the dry lakes provide for open space, great views, the sounds of wildlife and privacy.
Now may just be the right time to own "lakefront" property at an incredible price. Check it out!
