Have you heard the NEW word on the street? It is called "Assurance". It is an insurance policy to help those who lose their jobs due to no fault of their own. I think it is a much needed policy in many different ways.
I think it is great that the builders are now offering this to new home buyer's.
What this plan will do for the home buyer is offer some peace of mind just in case they do lose their job at no fault of their own, their mortgage will be paid for them for a limited time. Of course conditions do apply, as with all things.
I noticed car dealerships are offering it as well. I think it has been around for a while, it was just not as popular as it would be now in this type of economy.
