During the housing boom building supplies were in short supply. As a result, China made gypsum board was imported and used in the drywall process. The drywall is making people sick. The smell of sulfur is overwhelming! The wiring and the pipes in the home are corroded. It has even been reported to have ruined TV's and air conditioners. A man in southwest Florida sent off samples - he had been suffering from the odor with severe non-stop headaches. His home was not 100 percent American made as he was told by his builder. Instead it was a mixture of gypsum and cellulose. This combination combined with the humidity in Florida was creating and releasing sulfurous gases and causing corrosion of copper, silver, and brass in the home. Now he is faced with removal of all the drywall in the home. More importantly he has medical problems. Who will be held responsible??
