I just experienced a first time homebuyer wanting to build a brand new home and wanting to take advantage of the $8000 tax credit.

Please educate your homebuyers on this. They must close by December 1, 2009 in order to qualify.

Most builders will not give a closing date, so beware and protect yourself by giving full disclosure on this credit. Speak with the builders regarding this.

Last thing you want is an unhappy buyer telling the world how you messed up their chances of receiving an $8000 tax credit.
