Facing a foreclosure can be frightening! But if you don't understand the process or the paperwork you can begin to feel, not only scared, but confused and helpless, as well.
Scott Keeports, an employee at the St. Petersburg Neighborhood Housing Services is offering a free seminar for homeowners that are looking at foreclosure. The seminar is geared towards helping homeowners straighten out their finances and work towards getting their home back into their grasps. Each attendee receives two sheets of paper; one is an IRS form 4506-T, used to verify income, and the other is a monthly budget. Keeports will answer any questions that you may have and provide you with enough information to understand the foreclosure process and what is happening with your home.
The seminar is held every other Monday at 6:00 p.m. at 1600 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. St. S., in St. Petersburg, Pinellas County, Florida. According to Keeports, better financial choices can be made if people are "empowered with information."
