A new real estate class is starting up in Naples, Collier County, Florida that will include topics such as current real estate trends, buying and selling a home, market statistics, buying and investing in foreclosures and how to appeal the Property Appraiser's value of a home. The class will include a real estate attorney guest speaker that will come to discuss real estate contracts, a mortgage banker that will discuss the effects that the mortgage market is having on the banks and an insurance agent that will discuss how to reduce your homeowner's insurance rates.
The instructor of the class is Jim York, a realtor with Amerivest Realty. York as over 25 years of experience in the building and real estate market and is an active member of the National Association of Realtors (NAR), the Florida Association of Realtors (FAR) and the Naples Area Board of Realtors (NABOR).
The class runs for three weeks starting on Monday, April 13, 2009 from 6:30 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. at Barron collier High School, Room 465. The cost of the class is $79. For more information please visit the Adult and Community Education website.
