Senate Passes Bill to Help in the Housing Crisis
Author: Support Services, e-PRO
On Thursday, April 10, 2008, the senate passed a bipartisan package of tax breaks and other steps geared towards helping businesses and homeowners survive the housing crisis.
The measure passed by an impressive 84-12 vote, but even its supporters acknowledge that it’s too much in favor of businesses, such as home builders and does very little to help home owners that are at risk of losing their houses.
